MORRISTOWN

Noyes House Museum, 1 Main St., Morrisville: The Noyes House, built about 1820, is an 18-room brick house located in the village in the heart of Morristown. The artifacts and architecture of the Federal and Victorian eras include a Toby jug collection.

 

STOWE

Stowe Historical Society Museum, Town Hall, 67 Main St.: The museum collections include 19th-century clothing, decorative arts, household furnishings and Stowe memorabilia.

The Gondola Skyride, Mountain Road, an eight-person gondola operated by Stowe Mountain Resort and used by skiers in the winter, it takes riders almost to the top of Mount Mansfield. Spectacular views and a half-hour walk to the summit. Information: (802) 253-7311
