MUSEUMS AND HISTORIC SITES

St Albans Historical Society Museum, Church Street: Located in a renovated nine-room schoolhouse, the 1861-built museum includes memorabilia from the area's railroad heyday and the St. Albans Raid.

St. Albans Historic District: A row of monumental public buildings on the east side of the central park recalls the area's heyday as a railroad center in the 1850's.
