Transportation: Burlington is 15 minutes by car from the Burlington International Airport and is served by two major roads: U.S. 7 and U.S. 2. It is served by exits 13 and 14 on Interstate 89.

Bus service: Chittenden County Transportation Agency provides routes throughout the city and into neighboring towns.

Nearest rail service: Amtrak, at Essex Junction. Also, a commuter rail service is planned between Burlington and Charlotte.

WASTE DISPOSAL

Recycling: Burlington Public Works Department provides a curbside pick-up service. Also, Burlington is a member of the Chittenden Solid Waste District (CSWD), so residents can use any of the district's seven drop-off stations.
